The DEI Titanium exhaust wrap is a 2-inch by 100-foot roll designed for heat protection. This wrap can withstand direct heat up to 1800°F and intermittent heat up to 2500°F, and is pliable for easy installation around bends.

The DEI Titanium exhaust wrap, measuring 2 inches by 100 feet, is constructed from pulverized lava rock fiber stranded into a proprietary diagonal weave. It is resistant to chemical spills and vibration breakdown, securing tightly without pre-wetting. This exhaust wrap is capable of withstanding direct heat up to 1800°F and intermittent heat up to 2500°F, promoting increased flow for improved performance and reducing temperature and vibration breakdown. It offers a high-tech carbon fiber look and does not require DEI HT Silicone Coating. Pre-wetting the roll is unnecessary for wrapping. Notes of caution apply: wrapping catalytic converters is not recommended due to potential overheating and reduced lifespan; instead, DEI suggests their Corvette Catalytic Converter Shield or Floor & Tunnel Shield II™. Once heat cycled, the wrap loses initial flexibility, which does not reduce thermal properties but means it should not be moved or removed. Avoid wrapping flex-pipes or flex-joints. Furthermore, DEI explicitly does NOT recommend wrapping exhausts made of titanium, as it can hold too much heat, making the alloy brittle and prone to cracking; flexible heat shields are suggested as an alternative for titanium systems.
