Titanium Exhaust Wrap 2" x 50'

The DEI Titanium exhaust wrap is a 2" x 50' roll constructed from pulverized lava rock, stranded into a fiber material and woven into a proprietary diagonal weave. It offers resistance to chemical oil spills and vibration breakdown, securing tightly without the need for pre-wetting. This exhaust wrap is capable of withstanding 1800°F direct heat and 2500°F intermittent heat. It promotes increased airflow for improved performance and reduces temperature and vibration breakdown, contributing to a longer component lifespan. The wrap features a hi-tech carbon fiber look and does not require DEI HT Silicone Coating. Pre-wetting the roll is also unnecessary for installation. It is important to note that wrapping catalytic converters is not recommended, as overheating can reduce their lifetime. For such applications, DEI suggests using their Corvette Catalytic Converter Shield or creating a shield with Floor & Tunnel Shield II™. Avoid wrapping any flex-pipes or flex-joints due to this characteristic. DEI also explicitly does NOT recommend wrapping exhausts made of titanium. For titanium exhaust systems, DEI suggests alternative heat management solutions like their flexible heat shields.
