The Tomei EXPREME Ti Full Titanium Muffler is engineered for the Nissan 370Z (VQ37VHR engine) to deliver enhanced overall engine performance, focusing on maximizing torque, response, and exhaust flow efficiency. Constructed from high-grade titanium, this exhaust system significantly reduces weight, dropping from approximately 24.5kg (OEM) to just 5.9kg for the Tomei system, resulting in an impressive weight reduction of 18.8kg. The design prioritizes a straight-through layout with minimal bends to optimize exhaust efficiency. The system is a 3-piece assembly that utilizes secure spring and clamp methods, omitting flanges for further weight savings and a clean race aesthetic. The titanium construction also contributes to a distinct, dry race exhaust sound. Key specifications include an 80mm main pipe diameter, 1mm main pipe thickness, a 152mm silencer diameter, and a 115mm tip exit diameter. Additional bolt holes may be required when using the sound reducer ver.2. Important compatibility note: This muffler is NOT compatible with the 2012 onwards stock mid Y-pipe. The Tomei mid Y-pipe (TB6110-NS02A) is recommended for use with this muffler. While it bolts up to a stock Y-pipe on most models, it is not compatible with Nismo models.
