Titanium Turbo Shield

The Design Engineering Titanium Turbo Shield addresses the critical issue of extreme underhood heat, offering a robust solution for turbocharged vehicles. Engineered with a proprietary diagonal weave of titanium LR outer layer and high-temperature silica insulation, this shield is built for durability and superior thermal protection. It effectively mitigates heat damage to painted or carbon fiber hoods and contributes to more efficient turbo operation by allowing more heat within the turbine and reducing damaging underhood radiant heat. This shield boasts exceptional heat resistance, capable of handling direct heat up to 1800°F and radiant heat up to 2500°F. Its construction features riveted anchors for secure mounting and reinforced seams for enhanced longevity under high-horsepower conditions. It is made in the U.S.A. and includes one Titanium T25/T28 Turbo Shield and a 5-foot length of 22-gauge stainless steel wire for installation. The T25/T28 shield specifically is designed for use on internally gated housings and includes a cutout in the wastegate area for a precise fit.
