The DEI Titanium Turbo Shield addresses the critical issue of extreme underhood heat, safeguarding painted and carbon fiber surfaces from damage. By efficiently managing heat, it also contributes to faster turbo spool-up, potentially boosting horsepower. Constructed with a robust Titanium LR outer layer and high-temperature silica insulation, this shield offers superior durability and protection against the intense heat generated by turbos. Engineered for high performance, the shield boasts impressive heat resistance, capable of withstanding direct heat up to 1800°F and radiant heat up to 2500°F. This exceptional thermal barrier helps keep more heat within the turbine housing, promoting quicker spool and reducing damaging radiant heat in the engine bay. The design features riveted anchors and reinforced seams for enhanced durability under high horsepower conditions. This specific model is a T4 Turbo Shield. It includes one Titanium T4 Turbo Shield and a 5-foot length of 22-gauge stainless steel wire for installation. The product is Made in the U.S.A.
