The Currie 44 rear axle for 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ and LJ models offers a substantial strength and performance upgrade over factory Dana 35/44 axles. It features a reinforced nodular iron center section, heavy-duty 3-inch x .375 axle tubes, and chromoly axles. It is a direct bolt-in replacement, retaining factory driveshaft and brakes. The axle width is stock TJ/LJ 60.250 inches between wheel mounting surfaces, with a 5 x 4.5 inch wheel bolt pattern and 1/2 inch wheel studs. It comes with a 5.13 gear ratio and an Eaton ELocker differential. The axle has a satin black powder coat finish for long-lasting protection.
