Description

The Tremec TKX 5-Speed Manual Transmission (TCET17722) is a performance transmission for the aftermarket, designed for GM applications (classic, muscle car, custom build). It handles up to 600 lb-ft of torque and shifts cleanly at 7,500 RPM. Features include a compact, end-loaded design for easy fitment, a heavy-duty 3-piece aluminum housing, billet aluminum short-throw shifter, multi-cone synchronizers with sintered bronze and carbon hybrid rings, NVH optimized gear layout, a built-in reverse light switch, and a cruise control safety switch.
