Description

The TREMEC TKX 5-Speed Manual Transmission (TCET18083) is a purpose-built performance transmission for the aftermarket. Designed for GM applications, it's ideal for upgrading or restoring GM-powered classic cars, muscle cars, or custom builds. It handles up to 600 lb-ft of torque and shifts cleanly at 7,500 RPM, offering modern durability, improved shift quality, and exceptional drivability. It features a compact, end-loaded design that fits most transmission tunnels, a heavy-duty 3-piece aluminum housing, billet aluminum short-throw shifter, and advanced multi-cone synchronizers.
