The Lokar Tail Mount Shifter is designed for applications where the shifter needs to be mounted directly to the transmission, below the floor, and requires minimal adjustment for placement. It's suitable for vehicles with narrow transmission tunnels. Key features include a positive lock-out in Park and Neutral for safety, preventing accidental gear engagement. A neutral safety switch is also included and prevents the vehicle from starting in any gear other than Park or Neutral. The shifter offers various customization options for both the lever and the knob. Levers are available in straight, single bend, double bend, or bench bend styles, crafted from high-quality mild steel with black Cerakote or chrome-plated finishes, and lengths from 4" to 16". A wide array of push-button and traditional knobs are available. Each kit includes mounting hardware, a neutral safety switch, and detailed installation instructions.
