Description

This Lokar shifter is designed for Ford AOD (Automatic Overdrive) transmissions. It features an 8-inch single bend chrome lever and a hi-tech polished knob for a custom aesthetic. The Ford AOD transmission, introduced in 1980, was primarily found in full-size Ford, Mercury, and Lincoln vehicles until approximately 1990/1991, when it was succeeded by the AODE/4R70W. This shifter is suitable for these applications, offering a hydromechanical 4-speed automatic control with a throttle valve (TV) cable linkage.
