Description

This product is a shifter designed for Ford FMX transmissions. No further descriptive details were available on the product page. The Ford FMX 3-speed gearbox with hydraulic torque converter is only available for small blocks and has no converter bridge or overdrive. The shifter is compatible with FMX transmissions, which were rarely installed but used in Ford and Mercury models with more steam starting in 1968. It is tougher than the C4 and can handle 400HP or more. It was also used in some trucks until 1981, mainly in Australia, and was frequently installed with the 351 Cleveland engine. The FMX transmission can be identified by its cast iron middle section (even with additional support!).
