Tomioka Racing 2-Bolt Up-Pipe w/ EGT Bung

The Tomioka Racing 2-Bolt Up-Pipe is a performance exhaust component crafted from SUS304 stainless steel, polished to a mirror finish for enhanced aesthetics and durability. Designed specifically for the 2002-2014 Subaru WRX (EJ20/EJ255 MT) and 2004-2021 Subaru WRX STI (EJ207/EJ257 MT), this up-pipe addresses a significant restriction point in the factory exhaust system. Key to its performance is the elimination of the restrictive factory flex joint, replaced by precise stainless steel construction. It boasts one of the largest internal pipe diameters available for this platform, with 2 inches at the turbocharger end and 2.3 inches at the manifold end, promoting improved exhaust flow velocity and energy delivery to the turbine wheel. This is particularly beneficial for modified builds at Stage 2 and above. The unit features quality TIG welding throughout, ensuring a flush and smooth transition without gaps between the exhaust manifold, up-pipe, and turbocharger. This up-pipe includes a threaded EGT sensor bung. For 2002-2004 WRX models, the stock EGT sensor can be utilized. For 2004-2014 WRX and 2004-2014 STI applications, the bung is bypassed and capped with an included threaded cap. The 2-bolt to 3/5-bolt configuration is designed for easier installation compared to the factory connection method.
