Description

The Dorman 86598 is an electrical continuity tester designed for a wide range of vehicle applications. It can safely test powered-off connections on components such as taillights, spark plugs, distributors, generators, car batteries, headlights, and power outlets. This tester operates on 6-12V systems.

Constructed from plastic and metal, the tester is slim, lightweight, and sturdy. It features a 54-inch lead for extended reach, an insulated alligator clip, and an extra-long steel probe. For durability and ease of use, it includes integrated strain relief at the lead-to-handle connection to prevent cord damage and a protective cover for the probe. A required A23 battery is included.
