It features a recessed drop door with beveled edges, a continuous hinge, and a 1/2 inch thick gasket system for water and grime protection. A die-cast locking compression latch ensures a tight seal and deters theft. The sturdy aluminum box is powder-coated textured matte black for superior corrosion resistance. Aircraft-grade cables prevent door slamming. It mounts above the truck bed using included J-hooks and protective side-rail pads.
