Overview
The kit features a piston with MOS2 (Teflon/Molybdenum) coated skirts, which provides a durable bond that enhances heat transfer, reduces friction, and helps prevent cold seizures. The piston heads are machined smooth to reflect combustion heat and minimize carbon buildup, a feature that may also contribute to increased horsepower and fuel economy. Additionally, the anodized domes increase heat resistance and durability, making the pistons 75% stronger than non-anodized versions. The kit also utilizes a hypereutectic casting process for higher silicon content, ensuring reduced expansion rates and improved wear resistance under high cylinder temperatures.
