Top Feed Fuel Rail Kit

The BDE Top Feed Fuel Rail Kit is engineered to enhance the performance of the Nissan 300ZX Z32 by enabling the use of higher-capacity top-feed injectors. This upgrade is essential when stock side-feed injectors can no longer meet the demands for increased horsepower. The kit includes anodized black fuel rails with o-ring sealed inlets and outlets for reliable, leak-free operation. This kit offers options for lower plenum modifications, including retaining stock injector height or using bolt-on adapters that raise the injection point by 11mm. These modifications are specifically for early-style (90-94 TT) plenums. The kit also includes a modified crossover/balance tube that clears the fuel rails, with relocated idle air inlets and provisions for AN hose connections, eliminating the charcoal canister nipple. Cores must be Z32 variants. The upper plenum requires modification by removing three bosses to accommodate the fuel rails and hardware; note that this may damage chrome finishes. A modified throttle cable bracket is also included to provide clearance. The BDE Top Feed Fuel Rail Kit is compatible with E85 fuel and supports advanced injector technologies such as those from Injector Dynamics (ID). ID injectors are recommended for their precise flow rate and dead-time mapping, exceptional low-pulsewidth linearity for predictable tuning, and high impedance coils that do not require an external resistor or injector driver with the stock Z32 ECU (proper tuning is still necessary). This combination allows for high-flow rates and significant horsepower potential while maintaining good low-speed drivability.
