Top Mount GT35 Turbo Kit

The CX Racing Top Mount GT35 Turbo Kit is engineered for 1992-1998 BMW 3-Series (E36 chassis) equipped with 6-cylinder M50, M52, S50, or S52 engines, transforming them from naturally aspirated to turbocharged. This kit utilizes a novel top-mount turbo design, which CX Racing developed to address the notorious fitment issues and subframe interference common with bottom-mount setups on the E36 chassis. The result is a no-cut installation with a perfect fitment, providing a clean conversion to forced induction. The kit is capable of supporting up to 500 horsepower. Included components comprise a GT35 turbocharger, a 304 stainless steel exhaust manifold with a T3 turbo flange and a 38mm wastegate flange, and a 2.5" stainless steel downpipe. The turbo itself is oil and water-cooled, features a journal bearing, and operates within a 6-25 PSI range, with a .70 A/R compressor and .63 A/R turbine. An external 38mm wastegate set to 8 PSI is provided, with the option to upgrade to a higher boost wastegate. The intercooler kit features a core size of 21"x11"x3" and 2.5" piping for both the hotside and cold side. This kit is developed based on US Left-Hand-Drive chassis. CX Racing does not guarantee fitment for Right-Hand-Drive models due to potential conflicts with the steering shaft, and modifications may be necessary. Returns will not be accepted due to RHD fitment issues. The package includes the manifold, GT35 turbo, 38mm 8 PSI wastegate with dump tube, 2.5" stainless steel downpipe, oil line kit, oil pan bung for oil return, front mount intercooler with piping, BOV, and an air filter.
