The Mishimoto Top-Mount Intercooler is engineered to significantly enhance the performance of your 2022+ Subaru WRX by providing cooler, denser air to the engine. This direct-fit unit replaces the stock plastic end tank intercooler with a robust cast aluminum construction and a high-flow bar-and-plate core. The core itself is 88% larger than stock, boasting a 40.6% reduction in restriction and an impressive 76% increase in fin surface area. These advancements lead to superior heat transfer, keeping outlet temperatures within 10 degrees of ambient and a 35.7% reduction in pressure drop. This means more dense, cool air is available for the turbocharger to compress and send to the engine, supporting higher performance levels. A pre-drilled and tapped 1/8-NPT port is integrated into the cold-side tank, allowing for the straightforward addition of boost pressure or temperature sensors. The kit comes complete with all necessary hardware, including new shroud components, and is available in stealth black or sleek silver finishes to complement your engine bay.
