The Grimmspeed Top Mount Intercooler Charge Pipe Kit in red is designed to replace the restrictive stock plastic charge pipes located between the Top Mount Intercooler (TMIC) and the throttle body on 2015-2021 Subaru WRX models equipped with the FA20DIT engine. These factory charge pipes are typically made of rubber and silicone, which can absorb significant heat from the engine bay and are prone to flexing under boost pressure, leading to inconsistent performance. Constructed from durable aluminum, this GrimmSpeed kit offers superior heat resistance compared to OEM materials. The aluminum pipes are also dimensionally stable, meaning they maintain a consistent internal diameter even under high boost conditions, ensuring optimal airflow and preventing performance degradation.
