Top Mount Intercooler Kit

The GrimmSpeed Top Mount Intercooler Kit is engineered to replace the stock intercooler in your 2008-2014 Subaru WRX. As turbochargers compress air, it heats up, leading to reduced density and potential pre-detonation. This intercooler kit effectively removes heat, resulting in denser air and allowing for increased output from your system. The intercooler boasts a 17.5in x 8.7in x 3.5in cross-flow core, carefully balanced for high heat transfer and minimal pressure drop. It features cast aluminum end tanks with a machined BPV flange for a precise seal, and 5-ply silicone couplers reinforced for demanding conditions. The wide-mouth splitter collects air across the entire width of the scoop, and vibration isolation mounting protects the system from fatigue.
