It features a bar-and-plate core that reduces restriction by 40.6 percent and offers a 35.7 percent less pressure drop than the stock system. This intercooler also lowers outlet temperatures to less than 10 degrees over ambient, ensuring safe performance.

The kit includes a completely revamped intercooler with cast-aluminum end tanks and a core that is 88 percent larger than stock. It boasts a 76 percent increase in fin surface area for superior heat transfer. The integrated turbo quick disconnect eliminates leak points, and the mandrel-bent, full aluminum charge pipe improves flow and durability.

The Mishimoto Performance Top-Mount Intercooler Kit is engineered to significantly upgrade the cooling efficiency of your 2022+ Subaru WRX's FA24 engine. The core of this intercooler is 88% larger than stock, featuring a bar-and-plate design that reduces airflow restriction by 40.6% and improves overall efficiency. It achieves a 35.7% less pressure drop compared to the factory intercooler, allowing more boost to reach the engine. With a 76% increase in fin surface area, it excels at heat transfer, keeping outlet temperatures within 10 degrees of ambient for optimal and safe performance. The kit also includes an upgraded, expanded shroud to maximize airflow through the intercooler using the WRX's signature hood scoop. Accompanying the intercooler is a mandrel-bent, full aluminum charge pipe that smooths bends and transitions, improving flow by 20% over stock. This charge pipe features an integrated turbo quick disconnect, a critical upgrade that eliminates potential leak points and enhances reliability under high boost conditions. Installation difficulty is rated as easy, and the kit comes with all necessary hardware, including new shroud hardware. A pre-drilled and tapped 1/8-NPT port is included in the cold-side tank for easy installation of boost or temperature sensors.
