Top Mount Intercooler Kit

The COBB Top Mount Intercooler for the 2015-2021 Subaru WRX is designed to provide a substantial increase in overall airflow and more efficient cooling compared to other intercoolers. It boasts the largest core available for the DIT WRX, measuring 15.75" x 9.65" x 3.94", while remaining relatively easy to install. This comprehensive kit includes both the top mount intercooler and the COBB charge pipe kit. A heavy-duty replacement mounting bracket is utilized on the passenger side to support the intercooler's weight, and an included bushing helps isolate vibrations from the engine block. Reinforced black silicone couplers are provided to ensure a maximized flow path from the turbocharger to the throttle body. The COBB Charge Pipe is constructed from 6061 aluminum tubing with an integrated billet transition that smoothly increases diameter from 2" to 2.5". This design allows for increased flow while maintaining clearance for larger aftermarket radiators. The pipe features a wrinkle black powder coat finish for a subtle, upgraded appearance. The included billet turbo adapter and 5-ply silicone coupler facilitate a straightforward, leak-free installation and are compatible with both the factory bypass valve and the COBB LF BPV. Additionally, the COBB Thrust Tunnel, made from wrinkle black powder-coated aluminum, attaches to the factory hood ducting to optimize airflow through the intercooler core. This intercooler is a direct fit for the 2015-2018 WRX. For the 2019-2021 WRX models, the older hood scoop duct must be purchased separately.
