The Mishimoto Performance Top-Mount Intercooler Kit is engineered as a direct-fit solution for the 2015-2021 Subaru WRX, addressing the limitations of the stock intercooler when increasing boost pressure. This kit is specifically designed for vehicles utilizing stock tunes up to Stage 2 maps and tunes. Constructed with 100-percent aluminum and featuring fully cast aluminum end tanks TIG-welded to a robust bar-and-plate core, this intercooler maximizes cooling efficiency while minimizing pressure drop. The design provides a significant 76% increase in core volume and an 81% increase in external fin surface area compared to the stock unit, resulting in a 34°F drop in outlet temperatures. Additionally, it offers a 12% increase in flow, making it an ideal upgrade for tuned WRXs.
