Top-Mount Single Turbo Kit

The Vargas Turbo Technologies VTT-FAB-S58-SINGLE-NO-TURBO is a premiere top-mount single turbo kit designed for the G8X/F9X S58 platforms. This kit is proudly manufactured in the USA at Vargas Turbo's Hayward, CA facility, utilizing top-of-the-line components. The manifold is constructed from 321 stainless steel with billet flanges, ensuring high flow and long-lasting durability. A key feature is the revolutionary factory-controlled external gate system, which integrates a Turbosmart 60mm Straight Gate. This system offers complete control of the external wastegate directly through the factory ECU tune, eliminating the need for external boxes, MAC solenoids, or complex vacuum/boost lines. By reusing the factory actuator on the provided adapter, users gain access to the best-flowing and easiest-to-control system on the market, with a boost range from 0 psi up to the turbo's maximum capability. This comprehensive kit includes the manifold, a 4-inch downpipe with clamps, charge pipes with hose and worm clamps, oil feed and drain lines, a complete wastegate setup with V-band clamps, and a wastegate wiring harness extension. It also comes with wastegate arms and clips, the Turbosmart 60mm Straight Gate, and optional items like a Turbosmart Gen V Raceport BOV and a VTT-FAB Titanium Turbo Blanket. Various adapters for oil lines and block-offs are included, along with coolant extension harnesses, bottle rods, and coolant hose replacement. Hardware such as riv nuts, nuts for the manifold, head-to-manifold gaskets, and downpipe donut gaskets are also supplied, along with an air filter or velocity stack. Notable features include a fully tig-welded construction, a VTT-FAB 6-into-1 billet collector, and a design that eliminates the need for external boost control. The kit is engineered to produce that distinct 6-into-1 turbo sound often missed with divided housings. The charge pipe is flanged to accommodate a Turbosmart or Tial BOV. A critical note advises running a one-way breather to vent the crankcase, as the PCV system is largely deleted, to prevent crankcase pressure and potential smoking.
