Description

The CX Racing T3 Turbo Kit is specifically engineered for the 1994-1999 Mazda Miata MX-5 1.8L engine, converting it from naturally aspirated to turbocharged. This kit features a brand new design for the top mount T3 turbo manifold, boasting equal length and long tube runners aimed at supporting greater horsepower and torque compared to T25/T28 alternatives. The manifold is constructed from 11-gauge thick wall 304 stainless steel to prevent cracking, and features laser-cut flanges with a T3 turbo flange. The included turbo is a T3 internal wastegate model with an 8 PSI spring, a 2.75" inlet, 2" outlet, wet floating bearings, a .60 A/R compressor, and a .48 A/R turbine. The downpipe is 2.5" stainless steel and is designed to connect to the factory pre-cat position. The kit includes the turbo, manifold, downpipe, and an oil line kit. Installation requires draining the oil pan and drilling a hole for the turbo oil return; an intercooler kit is not included and must be purchased separately.
