It is formulated for use in a variety of Volkswagen and Audi vehicles, as well as specific BMW and Mercedes-Benz diesel vehicles and other Porsche models. This oil is suitable for both gasoline and diesel engines that require or recommend a motor oil meeting current specifications.

The Liqui Moly Top Tec 4200 SAE 5W-30 is a fully synthetic, low-SAPS motor oil engineered for exceptional engine cleanliness and long service life. It is also suitable for various BMW and Mercedes-Benz diesel models, as well as specific Porsche applications. The advanced formulation ensures superior performance and protection. Top Tec 4200 is suitable for both gasoline and diesel engines that meet current OEM specifications. It has been tested for compatibility with catalytic converters and turbochargers, ensuring optimal performance in modern emission systems. Always observe the manufacturer's instructions for the correct oil specification and change intervals. This oil is recommended for extended oil change intervals as per the manufacturer's guidelines. Specifications met include ACEA C3, API SQ, BMW Longlife-04, MB-Approval 229.31, MB-Approval 229.51, MB-Approval 229.52, Opel OV 040 1547 - G30 / Opel OV 040 1547 - D30, Porsche C30, and VW 504 00, VW 507 00. It is also recommended for vehicles requiring ACEA C2, BMW Longlife-01 (up to 2018), BMW Longlife-01 FE (up to 2018), Fiat 9.55535-S1, Fiat 9.55535-S3, VW 500 00 through VW 506 01 (with specific exceptions for certain TDI engines).
