TORQUE ARM, GM 12-BOLT DIFFERENTIAL

Add a modern suspension system, improve handling, and reduce wheelhop and axle wrap on your classic GM F-body with a Torque Arm from BMR Suspension. This application-specific conversion kit brings modern suspension technology to the muscle car platform, eliminating axle wrap and controlling pinion rise without affecting leaf spring function. Manufactured from heavy-duty DOM steel tubing and laser-cut, CNC-formed steel plate, BMR's Torque Arms are extremely strong. The 100% bolt-on design requires zero fabrication, cutting, or welding and offers significant adjustability. The torque arm is built from boxed steel and round-tube sections that form a cage around the differential housing, connecting to a steel plate mounted between the differential and cover. The crossmember mounts to the car between the body and the rear mount of the front subframe, utilizing Delrin bushings for subframe replacement and a Delrin slider bushing for the torque arm mount, ensuring quiet, trouble-free operation and articulation. This design provides excellent lateral stability and centered suspension articulation, making it suitable for street, drag racing, or road racing. Kits are available for GM 10- and 12-bolt rearends.
