The Mopar 4752574AB torque converter drive plate is a critical drivetrain component designed as a direct replacement for your vehicle's original hardware. Often called a flexplate, this genuine Mopar part ensures proper power transfer from the engine to the transmission. Installation requires removing the transmission. During the process, it is recommended to use paint or a center-punch to create alignment marks on the driveplate and crankshaft to ensure correct positioning upon reinstallation. For automatic transmission models, it is a suitable time to inspect and replace the transmission front pump seal. When installing, thread locking compound must be applied to the bolts, and they should be tightened in a criss-cross pattern to the specified torque. On manual transmission models, the flywheel bolts must be discarded and replaced with new ones. This part is compatible with a wide range of vehicles, including the Chrysler 300, Dodge Challenger, Charger, Durango, and Magnum, as well as the Jeep Commander, Grand Cherokee, Grand Cherokee L, and Wagoneer, plus Ram 1500 trucks. It supports various engine configurations, including 3.7L V6 and 5.7L/6.1L V8 engines. Always verify your specific vehicle's engine and configuration to ensure compatibility.
