The Energy Suspension 4.1104G Transmission Mount is engineered from performance polyurethane for a durable upgrade over stock rubber or metal mounts. Its design helps control torque in high-performance vehicles and maintains the correct driveshaft angle, which is crucial for preventing premature wear and powertrain damage. The material is resistant to under-vehicle fluids such as oils and coolants, as well as common road contaminants. This transmission mount features a unique safety interlock design for added durability. It is specifically designed for a range of Ford and Mercury vehicles from 1979 through 1995, including models like the Mustang, Thunderbird, Capri, Cougar, and Marquis. However, it is important to note that this product does not fit 1996-1998 Mustangs, and users with those models will need to fabricate an adapter plate.
