The Banks Power Torque Tube Exhaust Header System is engineered to maximize exhaust extraction and torque for 1999-2004 Ford trucks equipped with the 6.8L V-10 engine, EGR, and an early style catalytic converter. Its construction utilizes virtually indestructible 100 percent stainless steel, ensuring durability and resistance to cracking or blowing out. Mandrel-formed tubes are precisely tuned to optimize exhaust flow, contributing to increased torque. This exhaust header system boasts 5/8 inch thick flanges that are welded on both sides and milled flat to prevent warping. It includes a stainless Y-pipe assembly with a seamless Y-collector and necessary heat shielding. The system is designed with an inlet flange positioned behind the transmission cross-member. Emissions compliance is noted as D-161-76, and the product is covered by a 5-Year Limited Warranty.
