The Texas Speed Torquer V2 Camshaft (TSP-TQRV26112) is engineered to upgrade LS-powered vehicles, delivering impressive horsepower gains and an aggressive exhaust note while maintaining real-world drivability. It has become a favored option for naturally aspirated LS builds seeking significant performance improvements. This camshaft features 232/234 duration at .050 lift, .600/.600 lift, and a 112 Lobe Separation Angle (LSA). Dyno-proven gains of 50-55 rear wheel horsepower have been observed. Installation of the Torquer V2 camshaft requires custom tuning for both manual and automatic transmissions. For automatic applications, a 3200+ RPM aftermarket stall converter is recommended. Supporting modifications such as upgraded valve springs (PAC 1219 or TSP Dual .660) and a compression ratio of 10.5:1 or higher are also advised for optimal performance. Manual transmission vehicles may experience some low-speed bucking or surging, but this can typically be managed with proper tuning. This camshaft is designed for 5.7L and 6.0L LS engines and operates effectively within a 2000-7000 RPM range.
