The Energy Suspension transmission mount, available in red with a zinc finish, is a performance-grade component crafted from Hyper-Flex(TM) polyurethane. This mount offers a unique Safety Interlock Design and is impervious to common under-vehicle fluids like oils, coolants, and other road contaminants, ensuring long-lasting durability. It plays a crucial role in controlling torque on high-horsepower vehicles and maintaining the correct drive shaft angle, which helps prevent premature wear and potential powertrain damage. The heavy-duty hardware included further enhances its overall durability. This transmission mount is compatible with a wide range of Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, and GMC vehicles, spanning many model years from the 1960s through the late 1990s and early 2000s. Specific applications include numerous Chevrolet Chevelle, Camaro, Corvette, El Camino, and Monte Carlo models, as well as various C/K series trucks and SUVs. It is also listed for Jeep Wrangler models from 1987-1995. Note that while this is a popular upgrade, some forum discussions suggest verifying the mount's height against stock applications, particularly in certain F-body applications, to ensure proper fitment.
