Overview

The Total Racing Products Flex Fuel Kit is a CAN bus version designed for the Ecutek R35 GTR. This kit features PTFE hoses and EFI quick connect fittings, tested to withstand over 1,000psi. The flex fuel sensor is mounted on the engine bay firewall with a billet aluminum bracket.

Its fuel lines are constructed with durable PTFE hoses and EFI quick connect fittings, hydraulically crimped for reliability and tested to exceed 1,000psi. The kit includes a billet aluminum bracket for mounting the flex fuel sensor on the engine bay firewall and a similar adapter for seamless integration with the OEM fuel rails. Stainless steel hardware is provided for these components. Installation involves connecting the TRP harness to the ECA conversion box, the secondary air pump connector, and the IPDM, along with the flex fuel sensor. For tuners, the CAN bus box outputs critical data to the GTR's CAN bus, including ethanol percentage (E%), fuel temperature, and sensor status. The system defaults to 100% ethanol and -40C temperature upon sensor failure. The wiring utilizes TXL wire with XLPE insulation, offering resistance to heat, flame, gasoline, grease, and acid, and is rated for extreme temperatures from -40°F to 257°F.
