Totally Tubular Front Upper and Lower Control Arms

The CPP Totally Tubular Front Upper and Lower Control Arms are engineered to deliver exceptional performance, ensuring full wheel travel and minimal friction for 1970-1981 Chevy Camaros and 1975-1979 Chevy Novas. The upper control arms are constructed from sturdy 1-1/4” x .120” wall D.O.M. tubing, while the lower arms utilize robust 1-1/2” x .120” wall D.O.M. tubing. These lower arms also feature thick 1-1/2” x .188” wall pivot barrels to prevent distortion during welding and under heavy use, while enhancing ground clearance and supporting sway bar installation. These control arms are designed with self-lubricating, non-squeak patented D-Spec plastic bushings that offer a longer lifespan than traditional rubber or urethane and can withstand temperatures exceeding 400 degrees Fahrenheit. The chrome-moly cross shafts and sleeves are zinc-plated for durability and feature an interlocking design that keeps hardware secure. The pivot design accommodates both forward and backward loads, improving functionality over the original cross shaft pivot design. The kit includes ball joints and CPP D-Spec bushings, and no modifications are required for installation.
