The Schrader Performance Rear Seat Delete is a lightweight kit specifically engineered for 2015-2023 Ford Mustang Coupes. This product is designed to significantly reduce vehicle weight, offering a potential savings of 28-30 pounds compared to the factory rear seats. Despite its weight reduction, the kit is built to provide a solid and strong support structure. The rear panel of this seat delete can be easily lowered for access to the trunk by releasing two plastic clips, a design feature highlighted as unique for their Mustang applications. The panels themselves are made from rigid molded plastic with a black carpet finish, making them durable enough to hold luggage, tires, or other items. The kit includes sound insulation padding integrated into each panel and provides a finished look to the trunk area. Installation is facilitated by using factory bolt holes, and detailed instructions are included. Basic metric sockets, T40, and T50 Torx bits are listed as the special tools required for installation. It is compatible with all 2015-2023 Mustang Coupes, including V6, GT, and Ecoboost variants. A convertible edition is planned for future release.
