Description

The TREMEC TR-4050 5-speed manual transmission (model TDET17341) is engineered for light and medium-duty trucks, offering robust performance with a 600 lb-ft torque capacity. It boasts a deep 6.16 low gear ratio, ideal for towing and off-road applications, complemented by a 0.76 single overdrive for efficient highway cruising. The transmission features full synchronization for exceptionally smooth shifting and reduced driver effort. Constructed with a lightweight aluminum housing, the TR-4050 is designed as a direct replacement for the 91-07 GM 4WD NV4500 transmission. It includes a PTO port and has a specified oil capacity of 3.5 quarts (3.7 liters). The transmission is 100% brand new, offering OEM-quality performance for custom aftermarket builds. Its overall length is approximately 26.19 inches. This 4WD model is suited for builds requiring enhanced drivetrain capabilities, ensuring reliable power delivery for demanding tasks.
