Description

The Yukon Trac-Loc is a limited slip differential engineered for Ford 8" axles requiring 31 spline axles. This differential boasts an aggressive, 4-pinion design, utilizing 4320 chromoly spider gears for superior strength and durability. It features composite clutches for smooth engagement and is fully rebuildable, with assembly proudly conducted in the USA. This unit is compatible with all gear ratios for the specified axle type. It requires specific carrier bearings and races (part numbers LM102949 & LM102910) and ring gear bolts (part number YSPBLT-014). Yukon recommends using a high-grade, non-synthetic GL-5 gear oil and their specific LSD additive for optimal performance and longevity. The use of synthetic oil is not advised as it may lead to aggressive or noisy operation. The "Aggressive Design" signifies its capability for demanding terrains and applications where enhanced traction is crucial. This differential is backed by extensive product testing and advanced software design.
