Description

The Yukon Trac Loc is a limited-slip differential engineered for Ford 9" rear ends equipped with 31-spline axles. It features a 4-pinion design and utilizes composite clutches for reliable performance. This differential is compatible with all gear ratios for the specified Ford 9" axle with 31-spline axles. It is fully rebuildable and proudly assembled in the USA, with a commitment to extensive product testing and state-of-the-art software design. The Yukon Dura Grips incorporate 4320 chromoly spider gears for superior durability. Important technical considerations include 1.783" bearing journals, meaning this unit will not fit in Strange Engineering aluminum dropouts. For optimal performance and longevity, Yukon recommends using high-grade non-synthetic GL-5 gear oil and their specific Yukon LSD additive (Part number OILADD). The use of synthetic oil is not advised as it may lead to aggressive or noisy operation. Additionally, this differential requires the use of ring gear bolt part number YSPBLT-014.
