Track Bar Hardware Kit

The Grade 8 KOR-9906-HW Track Bar Upgraded Hardware Kit provides a robust solution for repairing track bar mounting holes that have become wallowed out and oblong due to bolt slippage. By drilling the damaged hole to a 9/16" diameter, this kit restores the hole to a round shape, enabling proper bolt tightening and preventing further loosening that can lead to issues like Death Wobble. This kit leverages a substantially increased clamping force provided by its 9/16" Hardened Grade-8 bolt. The Grade-8 bolt offers superior strength, withstanding 75% more pound-feet of torque than Grade-10.9 M-12 factory bolts found on WJ Grand Cherokee and JK Wrangler models. It also withstands 300% more pound-feet of torque compared to Grade-10.9 M-10 track bar bolts on TJ Wrangler, ZJ Grand Cherokee, or XJ Cherokee models. Included in the kit are two 7/8" OD x 7/8" ID custom-machined steel sleeves, two 9/16" OD hardened Grade 8 bolts, one 9/16" all-metal prevailing lock nut, and one 9/16" custom steel tabbed all-metal prevailing lock nut with a zinc coating for corrosion resistance. All components are proudly American-Made. Installation requires a 9/16" drill bit, electric drill, socket set including 7/8" sockets, and a torque wrench (highly recommended). For optimal performance, it is recommended to use with the SuperDurometer Bushings Kit (Part # KOR-1199) and Polyurethane Lubricant (Part # KOR-1109).
