Track Density Strut Mount

The 034 Motorsport Track Density Strut Mount is engineered as a performance replacement for factory strut mounts on MkV/MkVI Volkswagen and 8P/8J Chassis Audi models. These mounts are constructed from 75 durometer rubber, offering a 50% increase in stiffness over stock components. This material choice, combined with rubber fully vulcanized to the center cups, significantly enhances both lifespan and performance. This results in a substantial reduction in strut mount deflection, which contributes to improved steering feel and handling. A common issue with stock strut mounts, particularly when paired with coilover suspensions, is an annoying squeaking sound. This product is a complete re-engineered performance solution, not merely an insert for factory mounts. The high-durometer rubber is chosen over polyurethane due to its superior damping capabilities in both tension and compression, as well as in shear, offering more consistent performance and durability over time. Fitment includes various Audi A3, TT, TTS, TT RS models from 2006-2013, and Volkswagen models including Eos, GLI, GTI, Jetta, R32, Golf, Rabbit, Beetle, Passat, CC, and Tiguan across a range of years from 2005 to the present, depending on the specific model. Two strut mounts are required per vehicle, and new strut mount bearings are recommended for a complete upper strut refresh. This part replaces OEM numbers 8J0 412 331, 1K0 412 331B, and 1K0 412 331C.
