Built in-house at WCFab, this 60in Traction Bar Kit carries a LIFETIME WARRANTY against bending or breaking (to original purchaser). Traction bars are a necessary upgrade when increasing the horsepower on your diesel truck to prevent axle twist, which can lead to broken u-joints, driveshafts, and twisted axle housings. The brackets bolt to the bottom of the axle tube via the axle u-bolts and weld to the frame on the front end. They use a high quality RockJock rebuild-able and grease-able "Johnny Joint" heim connection at the frame for torsion adjustment or when raising/lowering the rear of your truck. At the axle connection, a heavy duty Polyurethane Bushing is used for decreased noise and vibration. Grade 8 hardware connects the bars to the mounts on the frame and axle. The kit is completed with a professional in-house powder coat process in your color choice and comes standard with an Epoxy Primer base coat before the final color, which increases corrosion resistance by more than ten times compared to a standard single powder coat application.
