The Wehrli Custom Fabrication (WCFab) 68" Traction Bar Kit is a necessary upgrade for diesel trucks with increased horsepower or those used for heavy towing. It prevents axle twisting, which can lead to damage to u-joints, pinion yokes, driveshafts, and axle housings. The traction bar brackets bolt onto the bottom of the axle tube via the axle u-bolts and weld to the frame on the front end. It features a high-quality RockJock rebuildable and greaseable 'Johnny Joint' heim connection at the frame for adjustment of axle torsion or when raising/lowering the rear of the truck. The axle connection uses a heavy-duty Poly Urethane Bushing to reduce noise and vibration. Grade 8 hardware is used for connections. The kit is powder-coated in the customer's color choice with an epoxy primer base coat for increased corrosion resistance. It carries a lifetime warranty against bending or breaking to the original purchaser.
