TRAIL MASTER SAN MAI III FIXED BLADE KNIFE

The Cold Steel Trail Master is considered the most knife for the money ever commercially built, outperforming other factory-made and most hand-forged knives in sharpness, edge holding, and strength. It features a broad clip point blade that is resistant to bending or breaking, with a needle-sharp point for penetration. The blade-back has a slightly concave false edge of approximately 3.5 inches. Each edge is hand-honed to a razor sharpness. The knife balances approximately 3/4" in front of the guard for a blade-heavy feel, ideal for chopping and slashing. The 5" long Kraton handle is deeply checkered for a non-slip, shock-absorbing grip and contoured to prevent shifting during use. The sturdy double guard keeps fingers off the blade. The VG-1 San Mai III blade is immune to water, salt, air, or humidity, making it low maintenance. It is also equipped with a rolled edge capable of easily severing 4" or more of free-hanging manila rope.
