TRAILER HITCH

This CURT Class 2 Trailer Hitch (part number 120573) is engineered with a vehicle-specific design for a custom fit on select Jeep Compass and Patriot models. It features a concealed main body for an OE look and seamless integration with the vehicle. The hitch is rated for up to 3,500 lbs. gross trailer weight (GTW) and 300 lbs. tongue weight (TW), though ratings are limited to the vehicle manufacturer's stated capacities. It has been tested for safety in accordance with SAE J684 and is precisely welded for superior strength and fit. The hitch is protected by a durable high-gloss black powder coat finish and co-cured in a rust-resistant liquid A-coat, both inside and out. It is equipped with an open-back receiver for easy cleaning. The included 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" ball mount features a 3/4" hole to accept a trailer ball shank and can be flipped to provide either drop or rise for level towing. It comes with installation hardware, a pin, and a clip. The product has a limited lifetime warranty (one-year finish, one-year parts) and is made in the USA (may include imported hardware). It is not compatible with vertical hanging bicycle racks. Trailer ball is sold separately.
