This particular hitch offers a custom fit for specific years of the Subaru Baja, ensuring optimal installation with minimal modifications and an integrated look. It is rated to tow up to 2,000 lbs. gross trailer weight and 200 lbs. tongue weight, making it suitable for cargo carriers, bike racks, and various lightweight trailers. The hitch features a 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" receiver tube with an open back for easy cleaning. All CURT trailer hitches are rigorously tested in accordance with SAE J684 at their Michigan facility, utilizing real-time, on-vehicle testing to ensure safety and dependability. Manufactured in the USA (may include imported hardware), these hitches undergo a co-curing process involving a rust-resistant liquid A-coat and a durable black powder coat, resulting in an industry-leading rust, chip, and UV-resistant finish.
