TRAILER HITCH

The CURT Class 3 Trailer Hitch is a custom-fit, vehicle-specific receiver designed for serious towing applications. It features a 2-inch receiver tube opening and is engineered for a precise fit on select Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500, 1500 Classic, 1500 HD, 1500 HD Classic, and 2500 HD models. The hitch is rated for a weight carrying capacity of 8,000 lbs. gross trailer weight and 800 lbs. tongue weight, and is compatible with a weight distribution hitch for a rating of 12,000 lbs. WD and 1,200 lbs. WDTW. It is manufactured in the USA from heavy-duty carbon steel, robotically welded for accuracy, and tested to SAE J684 standards. The hitch is protected by a co-cured finish of liquid A-coat and a gloss black powder coat for superior resistance to rust, chipping, and UV damage. Installation is rated as novice and requires no drilling. Notes include compatibility with tommy gate lifts and that hitch weight ratings are limited to the vehicle manufacturer's stated capacities. It is not compatible with vertically hanging bicycle racks.
