The PAC RPK4-FD2201 is a comprehensive radio replacement kit engineered for select Ford trucks, specifically the 2015-2018 F-150 and 2017+ F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 models equipped with a factory 4.2-inch display radio. This kit facilitates the installation of an aftermarket single or double-DIN receiver while retaining crucial factory features. Key retained functions include factory climate control (relocated without sub-dash cutting), steering wheel controls, the factory amplified sound system, the factory backup camera, and AUX-Audio and USB connections. It also retains the Pro Trailer Backup Assist (PTBA) and the factory air-bag light by relocation. The kit includes a factory-matched dash kit, painted metallic black, an electronic interface module, and all necessary plug-and-play harnesses for a professional installation. It is compatible with RadioPRO Link and Safe View™/VS41. This kit is exclusively compatible with vehicles featuring the 4.2-inch display; vehicles with the 8-inch screen require the RPK4-FD2101. It does not retain SYNC, nor the auxiliary input jack in 2015 vehicles equipped with SYNC. Additionally, it does not retain the outside temperature displayed on the factory 4-inch screen or camera zoom for reverse or bed cameras in Super Duty trucks. The installation accommodates single or double DIN radios and includes an antenna adapter.
