TRANS PKG STAGE

This transmission is designed to handle the output of the stock engine but with increased durability from upgraded components. It features an upgraded hardened steel Pressure Regulator Valve to prevent run-away reverse pressure, case lug blow out, and gear slipping. The furnace brazed turbine in the ProForce Torque Converter provides increased strength and lower RPM response. For improved filtration, a larger late-model sump filter is installed. The front pump is machined to prevent cross-leaks, and upgraded converter clutch regulator springs increase Torque Converter Clutch apply pressure. The valve body also includes aluminum pressure plugs, replacing stock plastic plugs to prevent blow out. An aluminum Deep Sump Oil Pan allows for an additional 6 quarts of fluid capacity and improved cooling. This package is ideal for stock trucks seeking a durable transmission replacement.
