The Pacific Performance Engineering (PPE) Transfer Case Brace is engineered to prevent cracked transmission tail shaft housings, a prevalent problem for GM Allison-equipped 4x4 pick-ups engaged in off-road and drag racing. Such failures can lead to transmission fluid leaks or severe internal damage to the transmission and transfer case, necessitating a complex repair involving the removal of both components. This brace functions by supporting the overhanging, heavy transfer case, distributing the load effectively across the adaptor housing and onto the transmission's center section. Its construction features two robust 7/8-inch support tubes made from 304 stainless steel, interconnected by a thick 304 stainless-steel plate, ensuring increased strength and a long service life. The brace is compatible with 2001-2007 GM 6.6L Duramax models equipped with an Allison transmission. It comes with a 1-year limited warranty and a 30-day return policy.
