Overview

The RCI GX460 Transfer Case Skid Plate is designed to protect the transfer case of your Lexus GX460 from on and off-road hazards. It is available in 3/16” steel or 1/4” aluminum and features a smooth, flat surface for sliding over obstacles.

This skid plate protects the third cross-member, transfer-case, and exhaust pipe. It is a direct bolt-on addition to factory attachment points and requires no drilling. All necessary hardware and installation instructions are included.

The RCI GX460 Transfer Case Skid Plate offers robust underbody protection for your Lexus GX460, acting as a crucial defense against potential damage from both everyday driving and off-road excursions. Constructed from your choice of laser-cut 3/16” steel or 1/4” aluminum, this skid plate is engineered to withstand significant impacts. It protects vital components including the third cross-member, transfer case, and exhaust pipe. Unlike the often flimsy OEM skid plate, the RCI design attaches directly to the transfer case, preventing impact energy from dispersing and rendering the plate ineffective. The skid plate is available with a heavy-duty black powder coat finish, which is standard on steel versions and optional on aluminum models. This product is proudly made in the USA.
